Designing structure
so creativity can breathe.

I’m Fleep — a game producer and creative systems architect who entered the industry in 1992. I’ve watched games move from pure software development to a medium where structure and artistic intention have to work together. This archive gathers my articles, books and one-page frameworks for creators who want clarity without losing their voice.

You are in
The Core Archive

The reference layer: stable documents, one-page frameworks and long-form work. Other platforms (Medium, Patreon, Gumroad, Substack…) orbit around this one.

You can use it to
  • Build or refine a project using the one-page frameworks.
  • Connect articles, books and tools into one coherent practice.
  • Keep a stable reference point while your projects evolve.

Articles, books & ongoing thinking

Where ideas move, get tested, and come back to the archive in refined form. This is where you’ll find the core arguments behind everything else.

  • Articlesindividual pieces on structure, authorship, value and production.
  • Paperslong-form versions of bigger arcs, built from those articles.

Creative frameworks & tools

The structural layer: how I think about games, authorship and production.

  • The spineCreator Mindset, Structure of Play, From Intention to Value, EVI/DVI.
  • Frameworksthe one-page series: compact tools, diagrams and decision prisms.

Education & diagnostics

This is where I turn the frameworks into concrete teaching tools: diagnostics, tests and structured exercises for students, teachers and studios. The first piece is the Fleep Foundations – Diagnostic Test, a 32-question snapshot of how you currently think about games.

  • • Use it as a pre-course snapshot for students or junior designers.
  • • Map which layers of scaffolding you already use intuitively and which ones need language.
  • • Later: bundles of exercises and teaching material connected to the main frameworks.

Feelou – The Virtual Producer

Feelou is the separate SaaS project built from these ideas: missions, tasks, objectives and validation wrapped into a practical workflow. This site remains the reference for the thinking behind it, while Feelou focuses on day-to-day use.

  • • Structured missions and templates for game projects.
  • • Guidance grounded in these books, articles and one-page frameworks.
  • • A way to bring this architecture into real production pipelines.

Consulting & access to me

I work through asynchronous, high-leverage interventions: strategic reviews, project re-alignment, and deep dives on intention, scope and production structure.

  • • Limited slots, announced in advance.
  • • Priority access and better rates via future Fleep Points.
  • • Designed to intervene where a normal producer can’t.

How this connects to everything else

This site is the anchor. These platforms are satellites:

Medium and LinkedIn are already active. Gumroad and Substack are being wired into this archive. Patreon is now live.
